When Good Goes Bad

When it comes to the Kingdom of God, good does not equate to God. God is a good God, but good is not always equate to God. Right equates with God. In Genesis, God told Adam and Eve to stay away from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 2:15-17
15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
NIV

There is a good that stinks in the nostrils of God. Many want to compare Kingdom of God and the Kingdoms of this world as to good versus bad. Kingdom of God is not good. It is righteous. It prevails in truth- absolute truth.
Why do good people go to hell? Because good doesn't get it. Being right is the way to heaven.
When a person comes to salvation through Jesus Christ, they are 'made the righteousness of God.' In turn, they have come into right standing before God. They are not a sinner no more. They are the rightousness of God.
Good goes bad when we try to equate good to Godliness. There is not comparison. Don't be decieved when good is present. Good is not always good. Good does go bad. Don't be good. Be Godly - be christlike. Then, the goodness of God will flood your soul!
