Here are some notes from "You Are the Righteousness of God" Teaching:
The way you receive righteousness is the same way you receive forgiveness. You must believe you have received it and act as if it is so.
If you can not believe that you are forgiven, then neither will you believe the truth that you are the righteousness of God.
A life of faith involves three things:
1. What God said in His Word.
2. What you choose to receive from God.
3. What you must do to act as if you’ve received it.
The Bible says that you are right with God even when you have done wrong.
Although you must repent of your sins, your behavior has nothing to do with whether or not God will forgive you.
We must renew our minds to righteousness to truly understand how it works effectively in our lives.
The truth is, God made us righteous through the blood of Jesus when we accepted Him as our Savior and Lord. We cannot make ourselves righteous through good deeds.
