Offending the Religious

There is nothing more challenging nor affirming when you offend the religious.  Religion is usually inspired not by the Word of God but by people's opinions, cultures, and self-imposed rules.   Its bias and strong boundaries make the religious feel comfortable while at the same time repulsing those who want a simple relationship with Jesus Christ.  

Speaking of Jesus, it was the religious who constantly gave him a hard time.  Always inspecting everything He did according to their traditions - not according to the Scriptures.  Tradition builds religion.  Jesus Christ tears it down.  Religion tells you can't.  Jesus says you can.  Religion tells you to sit.  Jesus says you can fly like an eagle.  

Offending the Religious and making Jesus famous.  Sounds fun to me.
