The Passing of Steve Irwin

I woke up this morning to the news telling that "The Crocodile Hunter" had died overnight while shooting a oceanography documentary. What a legend! I bought one of his DVDs for Jerome many years ago from the Discovery Store. We have enjoyed many viewings out of it.
Just this week, I shared from Romans 8 how when the fall of man happened then effects continued into creation. Decay is an effect of the fall of man.
Before the fall of man, flowers bloomed continually. Plants never turned brown and died. Vegetable plants were in continuous bearing. Animals were at peace with man. After the fall, everything changed for the worse. Creation along with man is longing for the return of the Kingdom of God when all decay and unrest will cease.
When I recieved the news, I grieved for Irwin. He loved the animals dearly. I thought how lovely it would have been for him to be with the animals before the fall. The crocs would not have tried to attack him. The snakes would not have tried to bite him. The sting ray would have enjoyed his company and felt completely safe with his presence.
It is going to be a great day when the new heaven and the new earth comes back into existance again. What a paradise the whole world must have been before the fall and what a great place it is going to be when the Kingdom of God is restored to its fullest!
