Issumagijoujunganainermik

Issumagijoujunganainermik. No, it is not a misspelling. It is a word. It is an Eskimo word or should I say term. The assembly of letters is literally translated "not being able to think about it anymore."

Why did Eskimos use that word? When Moravian missionaries took the message of God to the Eskimos, the missionaries were trying to find a word in the Eskimos native language for forgiveness. Twenty-four-letters made up the cumbersome word. Issumagijoujunganainermik.

Issumagijoujunganainermik means not being able to think about it anymore. There is a lot of things and a lot of people I need to not be able to think about it anymore. The it? The offenses, the pain, the struggle. Just forget about it. Remove it from my rememberance. We all have that one thing we need to not think about it anymore. Some have many.

Release it. Forgive them. Live.
