Simeon's Prescription

This week begins our Characters at Christmas series.  We start off with Simeon, the high priest at the temple where Mary and Joseph took Jesus to circumcise him and make an offering. Historians say Simeon had a three fold prescription for the Jews of his day in order for them to lead extraordinary lives. 

One was to read the Torah and live by it.  

Second was worshipping God. 

Third was service to others.  

Simple - very simple.
