I have been dealing with this term of spiritual bankruptcy. Spiritual bankruptcy to me is when you deplete all of your resources from yourself and get to the place where your totally and completely depend on God for your life and ministry.
We have heard the following verse so many times but it is still true:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
The Message says it best:
Trust God from the bottom of your heart. Don't try to figure it out on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do and everywhere you go. He's the one who will keep you on track.
