| Sonia Ray's Kitchen Wall |
In my years of church leadership, I have never met a more determined and focused individual as Sonia Ray. Two years ago, Sonia was diagnosed with breast cancer. After her diagnosis, her healing became her prime focus. In her need to achieve healing, she would have to meditate daily regarding what God had said regarding her disease. To do this, she took a permanent marker and wrote verses in her kitchen. The main verse she stood on was "may you live to see your children's children." Psalm 128:6 Other verses on her wall included Jeremiah 30:17 which God says "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds" and Psalm 91:16 which God says, "With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
How is Sonia doing today? Healed and delivered from breast cancer, she is worshipping the Lord on Sundays at Living Waters Atlanta for her healing and salvation. In addition, she serves in our Pastoral Care Team where she shares these same verses and many more which are on her wall to those who are in need of healing.
